PROJECT: Egg Chair

A giant egg installation with a yolk-inspired seat, created for the Selfridges toys department as a playful photo opportunity.
The egg form was first milled in PU foam to create a precision mould, before being laid up in fibreglass. Once cured, the foam core was removed, leaving a lightweight but strong hollow shell, reinforced with an easy-to-assemble internal laser-cut steel frame system.
The yolk seat was sculpted and upholstered in yellow fabric to recreate the soft, glossy look of an egg yolk.

A playful public installation created to celebrate the launch of Pokémon Pokopia across three European cities.
The concept and creative design was developed by Electric Sheep, with 3D Eye leading on the technical design, fabrication and installation to bring the scheme to life. The sets featured custom birch ply planters, a living wall built on a steel frame and also clad in birch ply, polycarbonate Pokéballs, and Pokémon characters laser cut from steel and vinyl wrapped.

Continuing our collaboration with Harrods Beauty.
This is the eighth bear we have produced for Harrods. The sculpture was fabricated from fibreglass in our workshop, sprayed pink, meticulously masked to develop the graphic stripe pattern, and finished with flocking for added depth and texture.
